April the first.  That means I’m more than half way through my challenge and so far I have put £16.00 in my pot and for my supporters donating when I reach 7,500 or 10,000 your bill is much less…only £3.50 so far.  **Note to self:  Walk farther!**  For those supporters that have offered a set amount regardless – thank you so much, your faith means the world to me.

Since I did the Activity4Charity walking challenge a couple of years ago, I have continued to wear my pedometer every day and to record my steps in a spreadsheet.  Anal I know but I’ve found it fascinating to see how my monthly average varies over the months.  So where am I going with this ramble?  February this year my average step count was the worst since I started keeping track at just over 3,500 steps per day.  This challenge has made me nearly double that figure. March’s average was 6,870.  Much better but there is still room for improvement.
