That is now two weeks into my challenge and I’m pleased to say I’m still going.

I am really pleased to say I’m still going OK. I was worried that my knees would have given up by now. But with the help of some bandages I think the knees are holding up so far.

Today’s route is another new one for me. Instead of heading up the Erewash Canal like I did yesterday, I turned off a bit earlier and followed a footpath along the River Erewash.

This takes me into Trowel, leading me to Pitt Lane and from there onto my old favourite route of the Nottingham Canal and back along Coventry Lane. Giving me a circular route of 10,175 steps.

It has been another soggy day. In fact the wettest yet I think. But that has the advantage of giving a quiet walk, very few people around.
