Day Thirty-One
I’ve completed over 10,000 steps for the 31st time this month. In the beginning, I really wasn’t sure I’d be able to do it. And partway through I’d got my doubts when I started having trouble with my ankle.
Day Thirty
Today I headed over the Erewash Canal, out the far side of Stoney Clouds Nature Reserve, over a footbridge crossing the M1 and into Erewash Valley Golf Course.
Day Twenty-Nine
Today’s walk was along the River Leen. A lovely day.
Day Twenty-Eight
Through Bramcote as far as the Bramcote Lane tram stop. Walked along the footpath that runs alongside the tram line to Toton Lane. Onto Baulk Lane.
Day Twenty-Seven
Through Bramcote Park. Then cutting through by Bramcote Hills School onto Moor Lane. And then turning onto Moor Farm Inn Lane towards Coventry Lane.
Day Twenty-Six
Another walk along the Erewash Canal today. This was heading North. Reached as far as Stanton By Dale and then headed back along the same route. It was a very nice walk. Now all the bushes and trees are showing signs of shooting it looks very nice along the canal.
Day Twenty-Five
Today’s walk was across Broxtowe Park. From the entrance on Nottingham Road, near the BP petrol station, to the entrance near the Nottingham Belfry. I’ve reached 310,000 steps for this month. This means an average of 10,000 steps per day.
Day Twenty-Four
My walk started past the Post Office, carried on up Town Street to make sure I could remember the way to The Top House for when it opens again. I then carried on along Town Street, cutting down Home Croft and to Common Lane.
Day Twenty-Three
Today’s walk was up Moor Lane and then along the Coventry Canal. Then around Pitt Lane Park. And managed to find a new path that leads through the new Field Farm estate.
