Day Twenty-Two
Today’s walk was along the River Leen again. A lovely day for a walk. It was very pleasant. And enjoyed watching the wildlife on the river and by the river.
Day Twenty-One
My walk this morning was to the Erewash Canal from Mill Road, up the canal as far as Stanton Gate/Moorbridge Lane, then down the River Erewash, back to Mill Road. It was a lovely warm and sunny morning.
Day Twenty
I started today with a walk around Bramcote Park. Into the park at Stanley Drive, then did a lap and a half of the park to leave by the main entrance. What a lot of people struggling to get a parking space in the park!!!
Day Nineteen
This morning I walked a lap of Bramcote Park. And then this afternoon I walked along the River Erewash. But unlike previous walks that started along this route, when I got to Pitt Lane I came back along the road.
Day Eighteen
It has been one short walk so far today followed by another one a bit later to get me up to my 10,000 steps for the day. The first was just into Stapleford and back and then the second was a lap of the park.
Day Seventeen
Today’s walk was on the River Leen again. But I think it was my slowest walk yet for the distance. But I have managed to get to 10,000 steps today.
Day Sixteen
Today was a repeat of the circular walk along the River Erewash, then to the Nottingham Canal at Trowell and back along Coventry Lane. This route is just over 10,000 steps.
Day Fifteen
Today’s walk started with exploring the land adjacent to the A610, from Phoenix Park. There is some interesting land to explore. From there, it was back to Broxtowe Park. Another interesting area to explore.
Day Fourteen
Today I followed a footpath along the River Erewash. Takes me into Trowel, leading to Pitt Lane and from there onto my old favourite route of the Nottingham Canal and back along Coventry Lane.
