Day Thirteen
Today my total steps since the start of this challenge has passed 160,000. That means I have passed the 50% mark for completing 310,000 steps in March.
Day Twelve
The paths were quite muddy in places today after the rain we’ve had over the past couple of days. And despite the forecast saying there was <5% chance of rain at the time, we did get rained on.
Day Eleven
It has been quite windy the last couple of days. Resulting in the towpath on the Erewash Canal in Sandiacre being partly blocked today.
Day Ten
It was very quiet today. Only saw three or four people for most of my walk. But then the weather was not very inviting. It was raining when I started.
Day Nine
Today’s walk was along the Eriwash Canal to Sandiacre. As you can see, you get some strange creatures in Sandiacre. I don’t think I’ll be coming this way on my own after dark!!!
Day Eight
It was very interesting walking around this area. I was wondering what the area used to be. There are a number of concrete blocks that were obviously leftover from some previous use of the land.
Day Seven
What a lovely day for a walk today. A bit of sunshine makes all the difference. Today’s walk has been over the River Erewash and up the Erewash Canal.
Day Six
This morning I walked into Stapleford, to get a knee support bandage from the chemist. And then in the afternoon, I went for a walk around the streets of Stapleford to get me up to the 10,000 steps.
Day Five
The route today was a repeat of the route yesterday with some minor differences. And the picture above is a bridge over the Nottingham Canal.
