One week into my Walking for Nablus challenge and I’m pleased to say I’ve managed to walk the intended 5,000 steps every day.  My lovely family and friends who are supporting me may be pleased to know I’ve only managed 7,500 on two days and over 10,000 steps once so they don’t owe me too much yet.

I will admit that already I can feel the benefit of the extra exercise and  am even enjoying walking the streets in the evening. Mind you whether I can still say that when the weather is wet we’ll have to wait and see.

That’s enough of me rambling about nothing.  Today’s featured picture was taken at the Bethlehem Arab Society for Rehabilitation and shows my friends from the Fenn Lanes Benefice.  We had clubbed together to buy gifts for this hospital that provides comprehensive medical and rehabilitation services to people from different parts of Palestine, particularly those with disabilities regardless of their gender, age, religion or social class.
